Pick a Point on the Map

Pick a point on the map and go explore it.

With a day to burn and weather too nice to waste, we fired up OnX Hunt and started searching for somewhere to get lost. Quickly the Mineral Peak Lookout became the destination and off we went. Not overly far out of town, a mostly easy dirt road and a little bit of a hike led us to a part of history seemingly long forgotten. With views spanning seemingly limitless amounts of the Lolo National Forest and nostalgia heralding back to generations long gone, it was absolutely worth the trip.

While these kinds of adventures are not normally the main focus for my lens, it is always fun to get outside of the comfort zone a little bit and work on viewing the world in a different light. Being able to practice, explore and craft a bit of a story in a different way than I normally would is so very important to being able to do a better job during game time. By pushing your mind to see the world differently you start to expand your creativity, you start to grow your skills and you begin to give yourself more to be able to offer up with that camera in your hands.

Go out and adventure, pick a spot on the map and go let yourself step out of your comfort zone.
