Pheasant hunts in the midwest are what an upland hunters dreams are made of. Running through the fields, chasing after excited dogs and laughing along with the people around you. Shouts of “Rooster” ringing out from down the line, the smell of gun powder wafting through the air and excited cheers as dogs run to recover a downed bird. A day filled with joy, sweat and fun. Periodic meetups by the truck, frequent opening of a cooler and memories being made.
