There is just something about honkers.
A large part of your love for the outdoors comes from how you were introduced to it. The memories that you created as you came into these sports become some of your fondest and will always ring true throughout your journey. For myself, chasing big Canadas was how I got into waterfowl. Going out with my dad, learning the ropes and being given the opportunity to grow as a young hunter. This has always been the foundation for my biggest passions in hunting. Every time I have pursued these critters, those memories are with me.
Growing in photography, it only seems fitting for these very same birds to have played a similar role once again. The love of photographing and filming Honkers has become just as strong as the love for chasing them, albeit the two have intermingled over the years to become one and the same.
